Connect your own search data to any AI agent.
An MCP server over your own account. Connect an agent that speaks MCP, sign in once, and ask about your visibility in plain language — from the same data the dashboard shows, never a copy of it.

Across the 72 buying questions you track, only YNAB is named more often than you are:
- YNABnamed in 51
- Ledgerly (you)named in 38
- Monarch Moneynamed in 34
- Rocket Moneynamed in 27
YNAB leads on price comparisons; you lead on shared household budgets.
Sample account. Your agent will word it its own way.
How it works
- 1
Connect
Add the server URL to your agent as a custom MCP connector. There is no key to generate first — the client registers itself.
- 2
Sign in
Approve the connection in your browser, once. The agent receives a token scoped to your account and nothing else.
- 3
Ask
Ask in plain language. The agent chooses the tools and reads only what your account can already see.
Connection details
What a client may ask you for.
| Server URL | https://tryvisibility.com/api/mcp |
|---|---|
| Transport | JSON-RPC over HTTP. Stateless — every request carries its own token. |
| Protocol version | 2025-06-18 |
| Authentication | OAuth 2.0 with PKCE. Dynamic client registration, so there is nothing to paste but the URL. |
| Rate limit | 60 tool calls per minute, per token. |
| Plan | Growth. |
Tools
Ten of them. Every one is a read.
list_websitesThe websites on the account. Every other tool needs one, so this is the first call.
get_visibility_summaryHow often a brand is mentioned in AI answers and cited as a source, across its tracked prompts.
get_prompt_detailsPer prompt: which LLMs mentioned the brand, and which cited it.
get_prompt_historyHow one prompt has moved check to check — answers “when did this change?”
get_changesWhat moved since the previous check: mentions and citations gained or lost.
get_competitorsWhich brands are named in the answers for those prompts, ranked, with this brand among them.
get_cited_pagesThe URLs and domains the answers cite — the brand's own pages and everyone else's.
get_rank_vs_citationWhere traditional ranking and AI citation overlap for a site.
get_search_performanceClicks, impressions and average position from Search Console.
get_ai_referral_trafficTraffic the AI platforms actually send, from GA4 — sessions, which AI platform, which landing page.
Where the data goes
To the agent you connected, and its provider's terms then apply rather than ours — so connect agents you would be comfortable handing the same data to directly. This includes figures derived from Search Console and Analytics, and it is disclosed in our privacy policy.
Frequently asked questions
Any that speaks MCP. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and agents running inside Slack are the common ones, and the server doesn't know or care which is calling — implementing the protocol once is what makes them all work. Nothing here is a per-client integration that has to be built.
No. All ten tools are reads. There is no write tool for it to call, so it cannot edit a prompt, change a setting, alter a plan or spend anything — regardless of what it is asked to do.
Exactly what you can see, and nothing else. That includes the figures we derive from Search Console and Analytics for the websites on your account. It cannot reach your Google account, only the data already in ours, and it cannot see other customers' accounts.
Not today — it's OAuth only, so there's a browser step the first time. That rules out headless and CI setups for now. The trade is that no long-lived secret ends up sitting in a config file, which is the failure mode we'd rather avoid while this is new.
Account settings lists every connection separately, and revoking one takes effect immediately. Connecting an agent is per client, so removing one doesn't disturb the others.
It goes to the agent you connected, and that provider's terms then apply rather than ours — so connect agents you'd be comfortable handing the same data to directly. It is disclosed in our privacy policy, and no data moves anywhere except at your explicit direction.
Growth. The connector is rate limited to sixty tool calls a minute per token — generous for a person asking questions, and a ceiling on an agent that gets stuck in a loop.
Ask your own data a question, from wherever you work.
Type a domain and we'll run the same check against it. No account, no card.
